Yen Ho

Position: Consultant Cardiac Morphologist
Location: London, UK

Prof Ho specialises in anatomy of congenital heart disease and arrhythmias including morphological correlates with cardiac imaging, surgery, interventions, and electrophysiology. Annually, she organizes and directs several short courses on congenital heart malformations for postgraduates and practitioners including her very well known ‘Hands-on Cardiac Morphology’ course at the Royal Brompton Hospital. She is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists (London) and a Registered Practitioner and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). She recently made a series of educational lectures viewable on 3D format with the aim of improving understanding of Cardiac Anatomy for students as well as for Cardiac interventionists and surgeons. To date, she has written/co-written over 400 research papers published in peer-reviewed journals, 120 chapters in books, and 13 books. Her book with Dr Sabine Ernst, ‘Anatomy for Cardiac Electrophysiologists’, is popular among trainees as well as experienced practitioners.
